Dungeon Masters

Adventurer Yevelna on a DMs Guide with dice

Calling ALL Dungeon Masters!

Blackwood D&D Winterfest relies on volunteer Dungeon Masters.

Run a one-shot at a daytime session, or maybe a more risqué game at 18+ Dungeons & Drunks on Saturday evening.

Whether you’re an experienced DM or jumping in for the first time, we’d love to have you on board.

Running your games

Games: Game sessions are 3 hours. Build one-shot adventure that fit these time-slots. We suggest levels 3 or 5 adventures for at least one game, but subsequent games can be higher levels. Games should be D&D 5e. Discuss other games with the DM Coordinator, and plan to have 5e games as backups.

Characters: DMs will provide pre-generated characters for their adventure.

Some battle boards and markers are available, but feel free to bring your own. If you have spare miniatures for your players, that would be useful.

There are some pre-written adventures and other useful resources in the DM Resources area.
