Accessibility

Accessibility at Winterfest 2026

Winterfest aims to create an inclusive and accessible environment for everyone.

Mobility
While there are wheelchair accessible paths and ramps across most of the venue, we acknowledge that it is not entirely wheelchair accessible.

Currently, there is no accessible path between where the food vans are located and the Merchants’ Guild.

To ensure that attendees still have access to these spaces, we have set up a short-term accessible parking area in front of the Merchants’ Guild so people can drive between the two locations. We also have runners available to help with purchases and collections between locations.

Support Workers and Carers
Support workers and carers are always welcome at Winterfest! If you are attending with a ticket holder and do not plan to play, you attend for free.

If you need something in a location that is difficult to get to, we have runners who can assist. Speak to anyone wearing a yellow lanyard (our committee members) or a yellow hi-vis vest (our session coordinators).

ACROD Parking
Accessible parking is available for ACROD permit holders in front of Centenary Hall. There is also a short-term accessible parking area in front of the Merchants’ Guild.

Toilets
There is an accessible toilet in the block near the Merchants’ Guild, and another behind Centenary Hall.

Sensory Issues
Many of our games take place in Centenary Hall at the same time, so noise levels can be high. We take steps to reduce this but recommend bringing earplugs, headphones or other supports if you are sensitive to noise.

Our Chill Out Area is open to everyone throughout the event (except Dungeons After Dark) if you need a little time to decompress.

Low Sensory D&D Tables are running on both days (ticket required).
