WinterQuest

Monk with dice

Monthly D&D adventure!

New to Dungeons & Dragons or an existing player looking for a game? We run Winterquest monthly game sessions at the Bridgetown Showgrounds at 38 Peninsular Road.

Doors open at 5:45pm with dice rolling from 6pm sharp. Adventures generally take 2-3 hours to play out. Make sure you come early to organise a character and get prepared.

Winterquest sessions are advertised on Social media about a week beforehand, and booking a ticket is essential.

All you need is a ticket. Sessions are designed so you can walk in, sit down and PLAY. We have pre-generated characters you can use, and can loan you dice, a pencil and anything else you might need.

Quick FAQ

Do I Need A Character?

You don’t need to create a character to play. Appropriate pre-generated characters will be available on the night.
If you want to bring your own character, being able to use it in a game is at the absolute discretion of the DM. Character must be PHB+1 with no homebrew.

Do I Need My Own Dice?

Dungeons & Dragons uses polyhedral dice to resolve play. We can loan you dice to play and might even have dice available for sale.

Do I Need to Know The Rules?

You don’t need to know the rules to play and have a great time. Your Dungeon Master and the other players will help. As long as you can describe what your character wants to do, the DM will work out what rules apply and what rolls you need to make.

Where Is WinterQuest Held?

Rowan Hall at the Bridgetown Showgrounds, 38 Peninsula Road, Bridgetown.

Tickets are available online. Pre-bookings are essential.

There’s plenty of on-site parking available.

Do I Need A Miniature?

No. You don’t have to have your own miniatures to join in the fun.

DMs usually have a miniature you can borrow to represent your character in your game.

What Do I Need To Bring?

Nothing apart from your ticket. WinterQuest is designed so you can walk in, sit down and PLAY!

But you can BYO food and drinks. A pad and pencil for notes might be useful.

If you have dice, rulebooks or miniatures they are helpful, but not necessary. We can loan you some to get you started.

When does it start?

Games start at 6pm, but we recommend arriving by at least 5:45pm to organise a character and be allocated a table.

Player Behaviour?

It is a condition of entry that all attendees abide by the Winterfest Code of Conduct.

If there is a problem with player behaviour, please see one of the event organisers or volunteers for assistance.
