  • Daytime sessions:

    Start at 9:00am and 2:00pm

    Run for approximately 3 hours

Please arrive at least 30 minutes early to be seated at a table.

Please plan to stay for the full session, as games are designed to run as complete adventures

Note: Campaign games and Dungeons After Dark sessions may follow different schedules — check your ticket or event listing for details.

  • Food and drinks will be available for purchase at the venue during the event. Plus the midday break is long enough to eat in town if you like.

You’re welcome to bring your own snacks — just be mindful of shared table space.

  • Winterfest aims to be welcoming and accessible for all players.

The venue is wheelchair accessible, with an additional accessible toilet on site

Carers and support persons receive free entry when assisting a player

Volunteers are available throughout the event if you need assistance

    Sensory note:

The event takes place in a large hall with many games running at once, so noise levels can be high. We take steps to reduce this, but recommend bringing headphones or other supports if you are noise-sensitive.

See the Accessibility page for full details.

  • All attendees must follow the event Code of Conduct.

If you experience any issues or feel unsafe:

Speak to an organiser or volunteer for assistance

This applies to all sessions, including Dungeons After Dark.

  • No — pre-generated characters are provided for all games.

You’re welcome to bring your own character, but:

Use is at the DM’s discretion

You may be able to borrow dice or miniatures at your table

Vendors will have dice, miniatures, and paint available for purchase

If you can describe what your character wants to do, your Dungeon Master will guide you through the rest.

  • Minimum age: 12 years

Ages 12–18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times

We aim to place younger players in suitable games, but some sessions may include more mature themes.
